About the Role:

MarketStar is seeking a highly skilled Sales Operations Manager to optimize our sales processes, support our sales team, and drive revenue growth. As Assistant Manager for Sales Operations, you will play a pivotal role in managing a team with quota or revenue targets for our complex digital advertising programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure individual and team success in meeting revenue targets.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize our sales processes to streamline efficiency and effectiveness, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to track key sales metrics, analyze performance trends, and generate actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Development, to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Develop and implement sales enablement programs and tools to equip the sales team with the resources and knowledge necessary to effectively sell our digital advertising solutions.
  • Assist in the development of sales forecasts and budgets, providing input based on historical performance and market trends.
  • Support the sales team in managing client relationships, addressing client inquiries or concerns, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in sales operations, with a proven track record of success in managing teams with quota or revenue targets.
  • Prior experience in the digital advertising industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven leadership ability, with experience in coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a passion for driving results and exceeding goals.
