Job Title: Data Fabrication Specialist
  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, and maintain extraction, transformation, and loading pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
    • Create complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned scripts for data manipulation and validation.
    • Integrate data from various sources including Azure Blob Storage, SQL Server, REST APIs, and on-premise systems.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure data quality and reliability.
    • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
    • Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
    • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD processes, and agile ceremonies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Requirements:
    • Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
    • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned scripts for data transformation and validation.
    • Strong understanding of integrating data from various sources, including Azure Blob Storage, SQL Server, REST APIs, and on-premise systems.
    • Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines and workflows to ensure data quality and reliability.
