Portfolio Manager

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and updating portfolio details of various private equity funds.
  • Preparing pre-defined investor specific quarterly bespoke reporting templates.
  • Reviewing fund cash flows and quarterly/financial reports to analyze PE Funds performance.
  • Calculating fund valuation data such as investment cost, realized / unrealized value, gross / net multiple, gross / net IRR and financial KPIs like revenue, EBITDA, net debt, valuation / leverage multiples etc.
  • Tracking the performance of operational KPIs and operational updates on a quarterly basis.
  • Creating / updating fund track record and reconciling the data using cash flow notices.
  • Calculating fund multiples and IRRs using cash flows and performing various fund analytics like attribution and value creation analysis.
  • Reconciling the portfolio level operational data including geographical presence, headquarter and portfolio leverage.
  • Collaborating with different teams to obtain information on time and communicating with clients on the status of tasks.

Required skills and experience include:

  • Post-graduate or CFA / CA / MBA / CCRA / CIIA / CAIA equivalent qualification.
  • 1 - 10 years of experience in relevant financial services, preferably with some research experience and management reporting or operational finance background.
  • E-front + ilevel + Power BI + Microsoft Access experience is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and emphasis on producing high-quality work products.
  • Experience working independently, proactively identifying ways to enhance processes or outcomes that benefit the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize a large workload, managing multiple tasks and details simultaneously.
  • Ability to show initiative, willingness to learn and take on responsibilities as contributing team member.
  • Knowledge of MS Office with strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
