Job Title:

Senior Affordable Housing Analyst

Job Description:

This role involves structuring affordable housing deals and applying for funding to various governmental sources. The analyst will work on MS Excel based funding applications, prepare support documentation in MS Word and Adobe PDF, and monitor and track documents and checklists.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, project/infrastructure finance, credit analysis, valuation, and balance sheet analysis. They should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF, and have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:
  1. Funding Application Preparation: Prepare MS Excel based funding applications for affordable housing deals, including Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Tax-Exempt Bonds, State, County, and City funding sources.
  2. Support Documentation: Prepare support documentation for the funding applications, including MS Word and Adobe PDF files.
  3. Monitoring and Tracking: Monitor and track documents and checklists to ensure timely completion of funding applications.
  4. Research and Expansion Opportunities: Research new funding opportunities and expansion possibilities for affordable housing development.
  5. Development Finance Process: Work on other aspects of the development finance process, including predevelopment and construction closing, conversion, and compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Real Estate, Underwriting, Financial Modelling, Financial Research, or related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF, with excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
