Job Title: Senior Engineering Director

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Director to lead our Software Engineering organization. This is a senior leadership role that requires strategic technical leadership, technical expertise in telecom protocols and mobile core network architecture, and people and operational leadership.

  • About the Role
  • This position will oversee the development of engineering strategy for Mobileum's roaming product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business and product goals.
  • The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of telecom protocols, mobile core network architecture, and signalling analysis.
  • The person will collaborate closely with product management, sales, and customer delivery teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs and industry standards.
  • The successful candidate will drive customer satisfaction across a wide deployment base while ensuring revenue and roadmap commitments are delivered on time with high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define the engineering strategy for Mobileum's roaming product portfolio.
  2. Provide deep technical oversight in telecom protocols, mobile core network architecture, and signalling analysis.
  3. Collaborate closely with product management, sales, and customer delivery teams.
  4. Drive Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) across a wide deployment base.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 20+ years in software engineering, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade software in telecom roaming and core network domains.
  • Expert-level knowledge of SS7, Diameter, GTP, MAP, SIP, SCTP, and mobile core architectures.
  • Hands-on experience in roaming service development, interconnect billing, and signalling troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of emerging trends such as IoT/M2M roaming and 5G service enablement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage distributed teams and deliver complex products to global telecom operators.
