Programme Director Lead

The Programme Director Lead will spearhead the development and implementation of our programme portfolio, driving strategic growth and impactful initiatives. The role demands effective planning, cross-functional collaboration, and outcome-driven delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning & Development:
    • Support the creation of long-term strategies and annual plans for programme themes.
    • Identify opportunities for partnership and innovation to enhance impact.
  • Programme Management:
    • Oversee key programme areas to ensure timely, high-quality delivery in line with agreed goals.
    • Provide guidance to project teams to boost operational efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Collaboration & Partnership Development:
    • Engage with implementing agencies, knowledge partners, and peer organisations to strengthen programme outcomes.
    • Represent the organisation in external forums as required.
  • Team Support & Development:
    • Offer mentoring support to mid-level team members to help them grow into leadership roles.
    • Foster a collaborative culture that values learning and accountability.
  • Monitoring & Learning:
    • Ensure effective systems for tracking progress, capturing lessons, and adapting strategies.
    • Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and knowledge products.
  • Financial & Compliance Oversight:
    • Contribute inputs to budget planning and monitor utilisation in assigned programme areas.
    • Ensure adherence to internal processes and compliance frameworks.
