Job Title: Liaison Officer

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Liaison Officer within our Railway Logistics department. This position involves acting as a key point of contact between our organization and Indian Railways, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with railway officials to guarantee the availability and efficient operation of rail logistics.
  • Coordinate the movement of iron ore through rail logistics, focusing on cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Maintain regular communication with railway departments to monitor rake allocation and movement status.
  • Resolve operational issues related to rail logistics in a timely and effective manner.
  • E nsure adherence to logistical regulations and safety standards.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to rake movements and logistics performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4-12 years of experience in railway logistics, preferably in the mining or iron ore sector.
  • Strong network and liaison capabilities with railway departments.
  • Good understanding of rail freight operations and logistics planning.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and solve operational challenges swiftly.
