Role Overview

The role involves assisting the Treasury Head in overseeing the management of treasury operations. Responsibilities include cash flow administration, banking relationships, investment strategies, foreign exchange hedging, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in managing cash flow, bank interactions, and foreign exchange risk mitigation including hedging.
  • Establish and maintain financial institution relationships, coordinating with bankers and wealth advisors.
  • Collaborate in developing internal policies, controls, and procedures.
  • Foster operational efficiency through process enhancements.
  • Create and monitor company-wide cash forecasts and cash flows.
  • Oversee daily banking activities, monthly cash flow management, and other reporting requirements.
  • Lead statutory audits, internal audits, special audits, and ensure compliance.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with wealth management teams to optimize returns within set guidelines.
  • Minimize currency risk by securing timely hedges, establishing inter-company cross-currency exchanges, and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Manage risks, including foreign exchange, fixed assets, cash, inventory, etc.
  • Negotiate and evaluate limits, overdrafts, loans, debt structures, and investments with financial institutions.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement cash management systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Promote digitization and innovate solutions across O2C and P2P processes.
  • Stay informed about fintech and market developments.
