Anaplan Developer Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Anaplan developer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Anaplan model design, development and maintenance. They will work closely with internal teams and/or clients to understand business requirements and translate them into functional models. The role also involves providing support and training to end-users on Anaplan functionalities.

Design and Development

The Anaplan Model Builder designs, builds, and maintains Anaplan models for various functions, such as revenue, costs, and consolidations.

This includes:

  1. Model Design: Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models for various functions.
  2. Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with internal teams and/or clients to understand business requirements.
  3. Model Construction: Build and develop Anaplan modules, lists, and dashboards based on model blueprints.
  4. Data Integration: Ensure data accuracy and model integrity by monitoring data flows between Anaplan and source systems.
  5. User Interface (UI): Design intuitive dashboards and interfaces to provide actionable insights.
Maintenance and Optimization

The Anaplan Model Builder is responsible for maintaining existing Anaplan models, ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate, and efficient. This includes:

  1. Model Maintenance: Maintain existing Anaplan models, ensuring they are up-to-date, accurate, and efficient.
  2. Performance Tuning: Continuously improve and optimize models to enhance performance.
  3. Model Documentation: Document model designs, business rules, and key processes.
  4. Data Management: Partner with data management teams to test and configure data feeds.
  5. User Support: Provide support and training to end-users on Anaplan functionalities.
