Business Analyst

About Position:

We are looking for Business Analyst (Risk) The Business Analyst will work in direct relation with financial markets, writing functional specifications, data mapping, data modelling, interacting with teams on architecture choices, development of software, test scripts, testing and participating in go live. Familiar with financial products including derivatives, equities, ETDs, commodities, financing, collateral, options, FX and working in highly challenging environments on strong functional projects. The business analyst will work closely with middle office, settlement, accounting, reporting and reconciliation teams.

What You'll Do:

• Domain Expertise: Extensive experience in the investment banking domain, particularly in Risk, Product Control, and ESG IT, with a solid understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of databases (SQL), data analysis tools, and familiarity with APIs, system architecture, and debugging techniques to support technical investigations.
• Agile Methodology: Proven track record of working within agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), including experience writing detailed user stories, managing backlogs, and participating in agile ceremonies

• Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex problems (incl. large datasets), design effective solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders, mediate competing priorities, and ensure clarity and alignment.
• Delivery Management: Experience in project or delivery management, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Collaborative Mindset: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, balancing depth in core responsibilities with flexibility to support adjacent roles.
• Continuous Learning: Proactive approach to staying updated on trends in investment banking, ESG IT, and agile best practices, as well as adapting quickly to new tools and methodologies.
