Strategic Policy Leader

This is a high-impact role that plays a critical role at the intersection of regulation, business strategy, and policy advocacy.

As a Strategic Policy Leader, you will be responsible for developing and articulating policy positions across various sectors. This includes telecom, broadcasting, financial services, entertainment, and digital ecosystems.

  • You will track, monitor, and analyze competition, market and regulatory trends to provide strategic updates in support of policy advocacy.
  • Prepare briefing notes, presentations, regulatory submissions, and communication strategies to influence key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within Regulatory team and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business goals with evolving regulatory priorities.

  • Strong policy, legal, and regulatory acumen in telecom and digital industries.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Must have an ability to create compelling arguments in both technical and non-technical language.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Lateral thinker with a problem-solving mindset and intellectual creativity.
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management across policymakers, regulators, and cross-functional business teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Law, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 2–3 years of experience in policy, research or a related strategic function, preferably in telecom, digital, or technology-driven sectors.
  • Strong understanding of India's telecom, digital, and data policy landscape; international exposure will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL preferred).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
