Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to ensure seamless communication between clients and their providers.

This key position is responsible for process management, procurement strategies, and supply chain optimization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in procurement processes, contract management, and negotiation techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Manage full-cycle compliant Purchase Orders (POs) and catalog-based orders
  • Coordinate PO amendments and cancellations, prepare and transmit purchase orders, and request PO acknowledgements from vendors
  • Escalate non-acknowledged POs from vendors, follow up on open POs for one-time delivery, and create/update vendor master data
  • Support vendor master setup, including form filling and maintenance, and address internal stakeholders and supplier queries
  • Work effectively in a team environment, providing support and guidance as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience in procurement/supply chain management, preferably in a multinational company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with ERP systems like SAP or Epicor
  • Heavy manufacturing and industrial engineering experience, preferably in the Aero manufacturing industry
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision in a cross-cultural environment, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
