Director of Operational Excellence

">Job Summary:

This role oversees the full lifecycle of new business initiatives, ensuring efficient WIP management and effective partnerships with distributors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management:
    • Forge strong relationships with distributor heads through regular engagement.
    • Maintain and enhance performance through ongoing monitoring.
  • Business Development:
    • Direct the issuance process to meet monthly targets by clearing daily WIP.
    • Drive operational excellence through hub teams for field WIP clearance.
    • Regularly facilitate governance calls with HUB teams.
    • Oversee end-to-end WIP management processes.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and drive related projects.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Deliver comprehensive reports on business and processing metrics.
    • Support distribution with data sets, reports, and dashboards.
    • Collaborate with internal departments on report automation.
    • Present findings to senior management as required.
  • Process Control and Compliance:
    • Maintain and update SOPs and 4 sheeters.
    • Document and control changes in existing processes.
    • E nsure all Service requests are processed within defined SLAs.
  • Project Management and Improvement:
    • Conduct benchmarking to establish industry best practices.
    • Develop and roll out new guidelines for distribution adherence.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Foster a high-performing team environment.
  • Performance Metrics:
    • Monthly governance meetings with Distribution leaders/head.
    • Distribution Issuance Dashboard/Scorecard publication.
    • Driving operational efficiencies with Distribution teams.
    • 92% Monthly Issuance rate.
    • 94% M2 Issuance rate.
    • 85% FTR rate.
    • Enhancing customer satisfaction through TAT-driven escalations.
    • Complete 1 Green/Black belt project per year.
    • Talent retention >10% attrition for G2M2abv.
    • Accurate reconciliation of business data/reports.
    • User-friendly customization of analytical reports.
    • Number of initiatives deployed to improve processes.
    • Effective alignment across departments with minimal escalations.
