Portfolio Manager - Asset Optimization


Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing a portfolio of investments, conducting financial modeling, preparing reports, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Coordinate documentation, track processes, and review underwriting materials to ensure seamless investment closings.
  • Monitor performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Manage a portfolio of investments, reviewing construction draw requests, analyzing borrower financials, conducting site visits, and maintaining regular borrower communications.
  • Collect, review, and analyze borrower/partner financial statements to inform investment decisions.
  • Prepare detailed reports for investors and stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of internal processes and asset management practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Financial Modeling, Business Analytics, Predictive Financial Modeling:** Proven experience in developing and implementing financial models, business analytics, and predictive financial modeling techniques to drive informed investment decisions.

  • Accounting software skills: QuickBooks, SAGE, Financial Force, EXACT Online, and XERO.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex financial data and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present findings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
