Job Title: Billing Operations Specialist

As a Billing Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of bills and invoices. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to identify outstanding accounts and generate bills and invoices specific to customers.

You will also be responsible for generating sales orders after gaining a detailed understanding of customer requirements, delivering invoices to clients via digital and traditional services, reconciling all payments with invoices, and receiving and sorting incoming payments including cash, debit/credit cards, online payments, and UPI.

In addition to these tasks, you will manage petty cash, identify any inconsistencies in transactions or pricing in ERP, regularly update receivables specific to customers, answer customer queries and address problems, submit all cash collected to the concerned authority at the end of the day, reconcile all payments received at the end of the day, and prepare and submit daily sales reports to the accounts team.

Moreover, you will be expected to generate monthly and quarterly reports and present them to the reporting authority.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to be productive without oversight.

They should have a basic understanding of office software and machinery, as well as experience working with accounting software such as Oracle/SAP.

A minimum of one year of experience as a billing executive at a large format store is required, along with an understanding of relevant laws, rules, and regulations.

The successful candidate will be a critical thinker and problem-solver, with excellent knowledge of MS Office and good time-management skills.

They will also be a team player with great interpersonal and communication skills, integrity, and a passion for numbers and financial data.
