Job Title: Performance Test Engineer

The role of a Performance Test Engineer involves driving the entire lifecycle of services, from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.

This encompasses improving the whole lifecycle of services, including system design consulting, capacity planning, risk assessments, and launch reviews. You will also be responsible for maintaining services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.

Furthermore, you will engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance service availability, recovery, efficiency, and performance. This includes working with a team to implement highly available and scalable architectures for core and third-party components of the Service.

Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing metrics, monitoring, and incident response processes. Aligning with and improving change management and capacity planning processes is also crucial.

Identifying specific system information needed to facilitate incident response/post-mortems and delivering root cause analysis is key. Contributing as part of a Scrum team to maintain a deep understanding of system functionality and architecture with a primary focus on operational aspects of the service (availability, performance, change management, incident response, capacity planning, etc.) is essential.

Operational Excellence is required to facilitate improved NPS with customers (internal & external) and address specific operational needs & concerns.

The ideal candidate should possess skills such as Gatling, AWS Cloud, Harness, K6. Mandatory skills include End to End Performance testing using LoadRunner and JMeter, Hands on Experience with Monitoring tools like APPD, Grafana, Splunk, Performance Engineering Activities, Devops and CI with CD, Web logic, Oracle Databases, Cloud native services.
