Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist for Vessels, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring spare parts, consumables, and technical equipment for vessels worldwide. This includes identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure spare parts, consumables, and technical equipment for vessels.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure reliable support.
  • Process purchase requisitions from vessels and fleet management teams efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order placement, tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to arrange timely delivery of goods to vessels at ports worldwide.

Requirements:

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of vessel maintenance and dry-docking requirements.
  • Familiarity with international maritime regulations.
  • Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software.
  • Experience in international logistics and customs clearance for marine spares.
