Procurement Associate Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled procurement specialist to play a key role in our business operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with 5-7 years of experience in sourcing, contracting, and operational excellence. They will be responsible for driving end-to-end procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing a team of 6-8 procurement professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate purchase requisitions and contracts with high accuracy.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to drive cost savings and efficiency.
  • Lead root cause analysis for delayed purchase requests and reduce cycle times.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and track product delivery.
  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives, including vendor selection and evaluation.
  • Oversee the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in procurement operations and sourcing.
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with eProcurement tools like Ariba, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
