Job Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified Financial Controller with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience to manage our company's financial accounts, compliance, taxation, and audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finalize accounts and prepare financial statements including Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Handle complete accounting process from journal entries to ledger scrutiny and reconciliation.
- Oversee GST computations and compliances.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and government authorities for financial and tax-related matters.
- Ensure adherence to applicable tax laws and corporate regulations.
- Manage a team of 5-6 accounts professionals.
- Analyse financial data for trends, variances, and support business decision-making.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, Companies Act, Income Tax, and GST.
- Experience with ledger scrutiny and hands-on involvement in end-to-end accounting.
- Exposure to internal audit and statutory compliance processes.
- Familiarity with accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to meet strict deadlines.
