We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Executive to spearhead the expansion of our travel and tourism industry presence. This pivotal role requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for sales and a thorough understanding of the travel sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, generating leads, building client relationships, and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Lead Generation: Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and industry contacts. Generate leads and follow up with potential clients to present our travel products and services.
- Client Management: Understand client requirements and recommend suitable travel solutions and packages. Prepare tailored business proposals, quotes, and presentations to meet their needs. Build long-term relationships to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated with the latest market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences. Adapt and provide relevant recommendations to drive success.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the operations and reservations teams to ensure smooth service delivery. Maintain accurate records of all sales, leads, and client interactions in CRM systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive attitude
- Good knowledge of the travel and tourism industry
- Experience in B2B or B2C sales in travel/hospitality is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and presentation tools
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Background:
- 2 years of experience in business development or sales roles
- Experience in travel, tours, hospitality, or leisure services
- Strong understanding of tour packages, destinations, and customer expectations
