System Billing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled System Billing Specialist to join our team on a contract basis, with a strong potential for conversion to full-time employment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Configure and maintain system settings to ensure seamless billing operations.
  • Assist in premium billing, collections, payment processing, and reconciliation tasks.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and implement effective billing solutions.
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate fixes to meet business needs.
  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing), defect tracking, and resolution processes.
  • Document process changes, configurations, and provide end-user training to ensure smooth system adoption.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in system billing and configuration.
  • Knowledge of insurance billing processes, including P&C or Life/Annuities/Health.
  • Understanding of policy administration, claims, and integration with billing systems.
  • Strong skills in SQL, data validation, and reporting.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to policy or claims modules.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and Jira/Confluence.
  • Basic understanding of Java, APIs, and integration points.
