Land Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Greentree Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects across Maharashtra, ensuring technical feasibility, connectivity, and regulatory clearances.

Job Summary:

The primary objective of this role is to identify potential land parcels and negotiate with landowners and agents to secure suitable plots. This involves conducting thorough title due diligence and ensuring legal sanctity of land through coordination with legal teams. Additionally, the specialist will prepare and manage all necessary documentation, including agreements to sale, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Land Scouting and Negotiation: Identify potential land parcels and negotiate with landowners and agents to secure suitable plots.
  • Due Diligence and Documentation: Conduct thorough title due diligence and ensure legal sanctity of land through coordination with legal teams. Prepare and manage all necessary documentation.
  • Relationship Building and Conflict Resolution: Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including landowners, revenue officials, district-level authorities, and government departments. Handle conflict resolution and address any legal or community-related land acquisition issues.
  • Project Management and Reporting: Oversee the end-to-end land acquisition process, supervise a field team, and regularly update management on project progress, risk factors, and mitigation plans.
