Structural Team Lead Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to oversee our structural engineering and Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects.

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and modelers on multiple projects, guiding them in their work.
  • Review and guide the development of structural drawings, models, and construction documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables in line with project timelines and standards.
  • Coordinate with architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), and construction teams for project integration, ensuring compliance with industry codes, project specifications, and BIM execution plans.
  • Perform design checks, clash detection, and model validation to guarantee accuracy and precision.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and BIM modelers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor project progress, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Support in preparing technical reports, calculations, and documentation for approvals, fostering collaboration with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Requirements:

Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering and at least 3+ years of experience in structural engineering and BIM/construction projects. They should also be proficient in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Tekla, AutoCAD) and structural analysis tools (ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills are required.
