Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. As a senior member of the structural engineering group, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior engineers, providing strategic direction and technical guidance, and overseeing project management and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage structural engineering projects from concept through completion, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure timely delivery of engineering designs, plans, and documents within quality and cost parameters.
  • Conduct technical reviews, quality assurance checks, and risk assessments for ongoing projects.
  • Develop and review structural design for buildings, retaining walls, and other structures.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering calculations, load assessments, and finite element analysis using software tools (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, RCDC).
  • Validate design assumptions and methodologies against applicable international and local standards.
  • Optimize structural systems and material.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental laws.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and finite element analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
