US Bank Audit Associate Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for executing assurance activities to assess risk and formulate a view on the control environment for US Banks.

  • You will perform a range of tasks, including audits, continuous monitoring, closure verification, risk assessments, and more.
  • As a Business Audit Associate, you will facilitate conversations with stakeholders on risks, their impact, and how well they are managed in a clear, timely, and structured manner.
  • You will support responses to regulatory requests impacting US Banks.
  • Additionally, you will assist in managing multiple deliverables in line with team priorities.
  • Develop clear and concise messages regarding risk and business impact within relevant coverage area.

This is an Associate (P2) level position that involves inspecting controls in front, middle, and back offices. You will require at least 3 years of relevant internal audit experience, preferably with experience auditing bank products and associated regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess foundational knowledge of key compliance requirements driven by various regulatory guidelines, including Compliance Heightened Standards and Safety and Soundness requirements.

A strong understanding of audit principles, tools, and processes, as well as the ability to identify and analyze multiple data sources to inform their point of view, is essential.
