Job Description

The ideal candidate will have strong program management skills, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, design, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, service, and marketing to deliver on product specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead new product introduction projects for multiple water purifier products, ensuring timely execution from concept to launch.
  • Own project timelines, cost targets, and quality metrics across the product lifecycle.
  • Establish clear program governance, stage-gate reviews, and risk management frameworks.
  • Cross-functional leadership: collaborate with various teams to deliver on product specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements.
  • Product development and validation: ensure Design For Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) and Design For eXcellence (DFX) principles are integrated early in the design stage.
  • Operational readiness: establish production readiness with manufacturing teams and ensure smooth handover to operations post-launch.
  • Continuous improvement: develop and refine new product introduction processes, tools, and best practices tailored for consumer appliance development.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong program management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
  • Deep understanding of appliance product development, preferably in water purifiers / home appliances / consumer electronics.
  • Knowledge of plastic parts, filtration technologies, electronics integration, pumps/valves, and assembly processes.
  • Hands-on experience in DFMA, validation testing, regulatory certifications (ROHS, ISI, BIS, NSF, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
