Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Service Sales Specialist – Loads. As a key member of our global team, you will play a pivotal part in driving business success and advancing our company forward.

Your primary objective will be to assess site-specific wind conditions, apply load mitigation strategies, and run validation campaigns to ensure the structural integrity of installed wind turbines.

You will work closely with global service regions and after-sales colleagues to create benefit calculations and drive implementation initiatives that support upgrades sales.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing/planned wind farms using internal tools to confirm compatibility and structural integrity.
  • Apply your analytical skills to re-assess site-specific wind conditions, develop effective load mitigation strategies, and run validation campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create customized benefit calculations and drive implementation initiatives that meet customer needs.
  • Represent the team in strategic discussions and development decision meetings, leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge.

As a successful candidate, you will possess a strong technical background, with university studies in Engineering or Business/Economics. Additionally, you should have 5-10 years of experience in wind & site assessments, mechanical loads department, or equal technical service organizations in the wind energy industry.

Key qualifications include:

  • Highly analytical individuals with a holistic approach and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Optional: Knowledge of wind turbine technology, WindPRO, and Python experience.
  • Fluent English language skills, with German as an advantage.
