Job Title: Permitting Director

The Head of Permitting is a leadership role responsible for directing, managing, and optimizing the entire permitting process for fiber-to-the-home projects. This involves leading a team to ensure seamless project execution while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and client satisfaction.

This position requires a strong understanding of telecom permitting requirements, including federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with regulatory bodies such as FCC, state public utility commissions, and local municipalities.

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive permitting strategy that aligns with business goals. Set clear objectives, performance metrics, and strategic priorities for the permitting team.
  2. Leverage your 7 years of experience in permitting and project management to navigate complex federal, state, and local permitting requirements.
  3. Lead the identification, preparation, submission, and acquisition of all necessary permits from local, state, and federal authorities.
  4. Oversee the entire permitting lifecycle, ensuring all project requirements are met on time and within budget.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, municipalities, utilities, and other stakeholders.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, zoning codes, environmental standards, and permitting requirements.
Requirements:

The Successful Candidate Will Possess:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in permitting and project management.
    • Proven track record of successfully obtaining permits for complex projects.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in project management tools.
    • Strong understanding of telecom permitting requirements.
  • Education and Certification:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
