Network Security Specialist

This role involves overseeing the network security infrastructure, ensuring it operates within defined standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and implementing robust security policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain network security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
  • Implement and enforce network security policies, protocols, and standards.
  • Analyze and resolve firewall and IDS/IPS incidents, identifying root cause and providing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with OEMs for technical support, replacement, and reconfiguration of faulty security devices.
  • Design, implement, and maintain site-to-site VPNs, firewall configurations, and intrusion detection/prevention systems for data centers, disaster recovery sites, and cloud environments.
Requirements:
  • Hold a CCNP Routing & Switching certification or equivalent.
  • 10-12 years of experience in network security, with at least 5 years in Fortinet/Cisco Firewalls and IPS.
  • Proficiency in managing firewall and IDS/IPS solutions.
  • Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and integrating various security solutions with management and authentication tools.
  • Experience managing policies, exceptions, and access control lists.
  • Knowledge of packet capture, analysis, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Familiarity with security technologies such as SSL encryption, dual-factor authentication, and routing protocols.
