Network Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to provide L1 level support for our global IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring network performance, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds, Manage Engine, Cisco Prime, and NAGIOS.
  • Perform proactive monitoring of Cisco R&S, HP Aruba, Ruckus Wireless, WAN, and ISP links.
  • Handle bandwidth utilization analysis and generate detailed reports on availability and trends.
  • Respond promptly to alerts and notifications from monitoring systems.
  • Execute basic network operations, including VLAN creation, port/user mapping, DHCP, wireless connectivity troubleshooting, and more.
  • Collaborate with ISPs and third-party vendors to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • FOLLOW ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, Change & Configuration Management.
  • Work closely with ticketing tools like ServiceNow for issue tracking and resolution.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a global IT support environment.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and network equipment.
  • Proficiency in LAN/WAN bandwidth and performance monitoring.
  • Experience generating technical reports for clients or management.
  • Exposure to global customer support environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of ITIL framework and processes.
  • CCNA certification is a strong advantage.
