Job Title: Estimation Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Specialist to join our team. As an Estimation Specialist, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates for various projects.

Your primary focus will be on evaluating project specifications, technical requirements, and scope of work to understand the needs and objectives of clients and stakeholders. You will conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies to determine the most suitable solutions and approaches for integrating control systems with HVAC systems, DDC systems, and PLCs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate project specifications, technical requirements, and scope of work to understand client needs and objectives
  • Conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies to determine suitable solutions and approaches
  • Ensure engineering design integrity by validating proposed technical solutions align with design shared during RFQ stage
  • Utilize industry knowledge, past project data, and estimation software tools to prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, DDC, and PLC systems
  • Refine estimation methodologies and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in automation or HVAC-related estimation
  • Strong understanding of cost estimation, document formatting, proposal drafting, RFQ analysis, and process improvement
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
