Job Title: Logistics Business Development Director

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced logistics business development director to lead our sales efforts in the growth-oriented logistics and supply chain sector. The successful candidate will develop and execute a strategic road map to drive revenue growth, backed by market analysis and opportunity identification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic B2B sales plan targeting growth in the logistics and supply chain sector.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, resources, and a performance-driven culture.
  • Drive client acquisition and retention through building long-term relationships, leading negotiations, and maintaining a strong pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Leverage data and CRM tools to forecast sales, track KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to align sales efforts with client needs and market trends.
Requirements

The successful applicant will have:

  • 7-10 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development, with a strong focus on logistics, supply chain, or transportation sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and driving significant revenue growth through strategic planning and execution.
  • Deep understanding of logistics services, including freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation technologies, and supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and communicate effectively across stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain (MBA preferred).
