Jira Administrator
">The Jira Administrator plays a vital role in managing and configuring Jira environments to support project tracking, issue management, and agile workflows.
- System Configuration Maintenance: Set up and maintain Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and custom fields. Administer Jira user accounts and groups.
- Workflow Issue Management: Create and manage issue types, screens, and field configurations. Implement and maintain custom workflows tailored to project needs. Track and manage review cycles using Jira for various stages.
- Automation Scripting: Configure automation rules for notifications, transitions, and field updates. Use scripting tools and plugins to enhance Jira functionality.
- Reporting Dashboards: Develop dashboards and reports for stakeholders using Jira and integrated tools. Export and analyze EPIC-level data for planning and implementation tracking.
- User Support Training: Provide support to users on Jira usage and best practices. Conduct training sessions and create help documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">Familiarity with Jira administration and configuration.
Experience with workflow creation and maintenance.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy or Python.
Knowledge of Jira's REST API and its applications.
