Production Support Specialist

As a Production Support Specialist, you will serve as the key liaison between teams to enhance customer experience through organized issue resolution. You will communicate incident reports to Engineering, Support, and stakeholders, driving positive product quality impact.

This is an engineering position focusing on issue investigation and resolution rather than management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate production issues raised by customers, Support, and Engineering
  • Collaborate with teams for root cause analysis (RCA) and drive implementation of findings
  • Create and track problem tickets in Jira
  • Generate incident analysis reports with Engineering team support
  • Analyze log files using Datadog
  • Debug basic REST API calls for investigations
  • Execute SQL database queries for additional information during investigations
  • Develop knowledge base articles in Confluence
  • Participate in security audits (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC2)

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of IT experience (SRE, sysadmin, developer, QA, technical support, or similar)
  • University degree in a relevant field
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted application systems architecture
  • Data analysis skills for creating and interpreting dashboards
  • Project management and documentation skills, including Jira and Confluence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure components, preferably AWS
  • Experience with REST APIs and tools like Postman
  • Logging/monitoring tool expertise, such as Kibana, Datadog;
  • SQL, Linux, and Network environment experience
  • Desire to learn new technical skills
