Job Title: Public Relations Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced public relations expert to deliver successful PR campaigns and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise daily with clients and the media via telephone and email, build strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients, media, and marketing teams, manage client expectations and ensure 100% client retention.
  • Monitor traditional and digital media, collate, analyse, and evaluate media coverage, track newspapers, magazines, and websites for opportunities.
  • Plan publicity strategies and campaigns, strategize, enable execution, and create quarterly roadmaps, prepare briefs, scripts, campaign taglines, and responses for interviews, write and disseminate press releases, articles, and features to targeted media, promote news stories and features, write and produce presentations, in-house magazines, brochures, reports, and promotional materials, document all campaigns, testimonials, and coverage, design and manage publicity brochures, websites, and promotional videos when allocated.
  • Organize and manage press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours, and visits, attend and promote client events to media and PR platforms, coordinate studio or location photography, speak publicly at interviews, conferences, and presentations.
  • Develop and foster relationships with brands and third parties on behalf of the organization, develop quarterly and annual roadmaps in line with business goals, leverage partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities, liaise with the marketing team to create cross-channel strategies.
  • Build relationships with industry leaders to grow awareness, keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencer activities, conduct trend forecasting for clients and their industries.
  • Commission and undertake market research, research new business proposals and present to potential clients, analyze industry trends affecting clients and recommend communication strategies.
  • Motivate the team and encourage a friendly, open work environment, maintain a network of resources to deploy when needed, ensure proper documentation across all initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of delivering successful PR campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of media relations and publicity techniques.
  • Experience in event management and coordination.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A postgraduate degree in public relations, communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in public relations or a related field.
  • A proven track record of achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
