Public Relations Manager – Hospitality

This position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of media strategies, managing crisis communication, and leading strategic PR efforts. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in hospitality management, event planning, public relations, or a related field.

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in hospitality management, event planning, or public relations.

The Public Relations Manager will work closely with internal teams to develop creative strategies that align with client goals and public relations objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Media Relations & Thought Leadership: Build relationships with media, pitch strategic stories, and elevate the organization's profile through high-impact placements.
  2. Lead Strategic PR Efforts: Develop and implement PR strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  3. Crisis Communication: Oversee crisis management strategy, ensuring rapid, effective responses to protect the organization's reputation.
  4. Content & Messaging Strategy: Create and review strategic content, including press releases, case studies, and executive messaging, maintaining brand alignment.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate relationships with media, clients, industry leaders, and stakeholders, tailoring communication strategies for each.
  6. Executive Communications: Prepare executives with media training, speechwriting, and talking points for public appearances and press interactions.
  7. Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and guide the PR team, fostering growth, accountability, and high-quality output.
  8. Metric Analysis: Track and analyze PR performance, media coverage, and campaign impact, presenting insights to senior leadership.
