Job Title: Prospect Researcher

 

Job Overview:

The prospect research role plays a pivotal part in the business development process. As a key contributor to the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential leads across the USA market.

This crucial function supports both business development and sales by establishing a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Research and Outreach: Utilize Sales Navigator to identify, research, and connect with potential clients within the logistics and supply chain industry.
  2. Lead Generation: Develop and maintain an accurate database of qualified leads featuring comprehensive contact and company information.
  3. Prospecting: Craft personalized connection requests and introductory messages to engage prospects.
  4. Conversation Management: Monitor and manage conversations with prospects, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  5. Collaboration: Partner with the business development and sales teams to synchronize prospecting strategies with company objectives.
  6. Industry Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities within the U.S. logistics and freight forwarding space.
  7. Reporting: Prepare and share weekly and monthly reports detailing prospecting activities, lead generation metrics, and conversion rates.

 

Qualifications and Skills:
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in lead generation, prospecting, or sales support, with strong knowledge being sufficient for fresh graduates.
  • Familiarity with Sales Navigator and CRM tools is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • Ability to work independently during U.S. night hours.
  • Attention to detail, combined with excellent organizational and research skills.
  • Enthusiasm, proactivity, and eagerness to learn about the logistics industry.
