Job Title: Finance Operations Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead all financial aspects of our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving cost efficiency, ensuring strong governance, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Financial Planning & Analysis
    • Develop and manage plant-level budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to drive business performance.
    • Analyze cost-to-convert metrics, labor, power, fuel, and material efficiencies to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Evaluate capital expenditure proposals, conduct ROI analysis, and ensure compliance with approvals and regulations.
    • Manage working capital, including vendor advances, accounts payable/receivable, and inventory management.
  • 2. Governance & Compliance
    • Establish and maintain strong internal controls and compliance frameworks, including GST, TDS, and statutory requirements.
    • Ensure process discipline, documentation, and audit readiness to mitigate risks.
    • Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of observations.
  • 3. Business Partnering & Value Creation
    • Collaborate with plant leadership to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
    • Work with sourcing/procurement teams to negotiate contracts and manage vendors.
    • Utilize data analytics tools like Power BI and Oracle ERP systems to provide real-time visibility on plant performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-7 years of experience in plant finance or manufacturing finance.
  • Experience in greenfield factory setup or plant commercials is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP systems, financial controls, GST, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide actionable insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
