Job Title

Seeking a highly skilled Plant Finance Manager to oversee all finance, commercial, and compliance aspects of our plant. This role will be a key business partner to operations, supply chain, and leadership, ensuring strong governance, cost control, and financial efficiency from project commissioning to steady-state operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage plant-level budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and variance analysis.
  • Drive Cost-to-Convert (C2C) metrics, and monitor labor, power, fuel, and material efficiencies.
  • Oversee capex governance - business case evaluation, ROI analysis, approvals, and compliance.
  • Manage working capital including vendor advances, GR/IR, and inventory.
Governance & Compliance
  • Establish strong internal controls and compliance frameworks (GST, TDS, statutory requirements).
  • Ensure process discipline, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Support internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
Business Partnering & Value Creation
  • Partner with plant leadership to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
  • Support sourcing/procurement in contract negotiations and vendor management.
  • Use tools like Power BI, dashboards, and Oracle ERP systems to provide real-time visibility on plant performance.
Qualifications & Skills:

A Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-7 years of experience in plant finance/manufacturing finance is required. Experience in greenfield factory setup or plant commercials is preferred. Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP systems, financial controls, GST & compliance, and cost accounting is essential. Good analytical skills and ability to provide actionable insights are also required. Strong stakeholder management and ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling environment are necessary.
