Job Description:

This role oversees and manages the IT infrastructure, focusing on cloud management, vendor management, and IT administration.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies.

The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for:

  • Cloud Management:
    • Deploy, monitor, maintain, and support all cloud-based systems.
    • Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet business needs.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
    • Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing.
    • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • IT Administration:
    • Oversee daily operations of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
    • Ensure availability, performance, and security of IT systems.
    • Implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization technologies.
    • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms and services.
    • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Management Skills:
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience in budgeting and financial management for IT projects.
    • Ability to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving:
    • Strong analytical skills to assess and troubleshoot complex IT issues.
    • Ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Strong negotiation skills for vendor management.
Benefits:
  • Bachelor's degree in information security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field or a Diploma in Engineering in Information technology or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in information technology infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proven experience in managing IT vendors and negotiating contracts.
  • Experience in the asset management or financial services industry is preferred.
