Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Strategist to lead our infrastructure operations and drive business growth. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement innovative strategies.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute infrastructure strategies for on-premise data center management and cloud deployments, ensuring seamless delivery and optimal performance.
  • Analyze existing infrastructure effectiveness and efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Negotiate purchases of software, hardware, and IT supplies, adhering to management-approved guidelines.
  • Manage software licenses, hardware, and other IT inventory, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with senior management and peers to gain acceptance for alternate approaches and solutions.
  • Lead an outsourced team for daily operations, driving productivity and results.
  • Provide innovative solutions to complex business problems, leveraging in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Conduct live disaster recovery activities and periodic drills, ensuring business continuity.
  • Possess working knowledge of server, storage, database, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and network infrastructure.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and ensure incident-free production operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in infrastructure management, encompassing both on-premise data centers and cloud infrastructure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Program and project management expertise.
  • Planning and executing infrastructure-related projects.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of infrastructure components, including servers, storage, databases, operating systems, and networks.
  • Excellent understanding of cloud computing principles and technologies.

Competencies:

  • Ability to conduct infrastructure discovery assessments and develop transformation strategies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all data center functions, including production operations, change control, disaster recovery, helpdesk, systems management, and facilities.
  • Experience with private and public cloud architectures, including migration considerations.
