Technical Product Manager Job Description

This role is responsible for leading and contributing to the execution of product lifecycle processes for Insurtech products/platforms. Working with cross-functional teams ensures fulfilment of product requirements.

  • The ideal candidate will lead technical discussions with Engineering teams and thoroughly manage technical/business requirements.
  • They will assist in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases, and regular corrective service or service pack releases.
  • Mentoring a team of Product Managers while acting as a technical consultant to the product organization and leads research and prototyping of innovative technologies and products.
  • Evaluating product performance and transitioning products from development to commercialization.
  • Ensuring technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map.
  • Acting as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Product Management, API Integration, SQL, Data Analysis, SDLC, technology system interfaces, data integration, networks, operating systems, Coaching & mentoring, influence, lead, cross-functional global team setup.

Please note that experience in Life & Annuity Industry is preferred but not mandatory.
