Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum: Develop and implement international benchmarked curriculum standards, making relevant connections between learning areas and the global scenario.
  • Instruction: Design coherent instructions, utilizing various teaching techniques and tools to engage different learners. Create educational supports, including reading material, activities, and visual/audio accompaniments.
  • Assessment: Transact student assessments as designed, assess, record, and report on student development, progress, and behavior.
  • Culture: Establish a welcoming classroom culture, integrating our values into all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Professional Practice: Attend continuing professional development sessions, communicate with school staff, and plan extra-curricular opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors of Education or Masters of Education in the relevant subject area
  • Experience in teaching IGCSE or other international curricula can be highly beneficial.
  • A good understanding of the IGCSE framework, assessment methods, and syllabi is essential.
  • Strategic thinker, skilled collaborator, and committed to fostering educational excellence.

This role requires strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, along with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse school community towards achieving shared goals.
