We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chief of Staff to manage the Executive Office in New Delhi.

The role will require a high level of discretion, strong executive presence, and the ability to command respect and credibility in high-profile meetings.

You will be responsible for assisting the Principal with the day-to-day running of the Executive Office, which will involve juggling multiple priorities and managing high-stakes decision-making situations.

Key objectives of the role include:

  • Control & Prioritization: Ensure the Principal only focuses on high-impact decisions by filtering requests and prioritizing tasks.
  • Operational Efficiency: Optimize meetings, communication flow, and decision-making processes to ensure the smooth running of the Executive Office.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a representative of the Principal in government, regulatory, and corporate settings, ensuring strong relationships and discretion.
  • Crisis & Risk Management: Quickly identify and resolve issues before they escalate, especially in sensitive, high-stakes scenarios.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Gatekeeping and prioritisation, filtering requests and ensuring the Principal only focusses on critical issues.
  • Stakeholder and Government relations, liaising with ministers, regulators, corporate leaders and other individuals within the Principals external network.
  • Executive Office Management, overseeing the flow of meetings, decisions and confidential information.
  • Decision support, providing critical analysis and insights to help the Principal make rapid, well-informed decisions.
  • Crisis Handling, taking charge in the Principals absence, resolving urgent issues and communicating on his behalf.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum 10 years experience in a role that has demonstrated exposure to senior level executives involving high-stakes decision making and or government/corporate engagement.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong executive presence and ability to command respect and credibility in high-profile meetings.
  • Proactive decision-making skills, able to act independently and pre-empt issues before they escalate.
  • Experience navigating Indian political and regulatory structures is a major advantage.
