Chief Operations Director Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven leader to head our India operations, focusing on delivering exceptional performance and driving business growth aligned with our global vision.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of India branch operations to ensure seamless execution and optimal outcomes.
  • Oversee international trade activities, primarily imports from China and exports, to maximize revenue and minimize risks.
  • Direct financial operations, including profit and loss management, budget planning, and strategic decision-making.
  • Supervise staff and foster an environment of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian laws, corporate governance, and industry regulations, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethics.
  • Coordinate and support logistics processes as needed, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a CEO or Managing Director role within a small or medium-sized entity in India.
  • A strong understanding of Indian corporate law and public limited company (PLC) structures.
  • Proven experience in international trade and logistics, with a focus on building strategic relationships and optimizing supply chains.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
