Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Affairs Director to lead our organization's interactions with government officials, stakeholders, and the media.

  • Develop and execute public affairs strategies to advance business goals and influence policy decisions.
  • Lead regular interactions with government officials to ensure a favorable policy environment for operations.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders and community representatives.
  • Monitor and track policy developments affecting our sector and prepare position papers and advocacy strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Policy Development and Advocacy: Develop and implement policies that support business growth and minimize regulatory risks.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, industry leaders, and community representatives.
  3. Crisis Communication: Develop and execute crisis communication protocols to mitigate reputational risks.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of professionals to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as politics, international relations, or communications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate affairs, public policy, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of influencing policy decisions and advancing business goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
