Job Overview

As a senior software engineer, you will collaborate with product and design teams during the design phase to create innovative software solutions.

This role involves designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks, etc.

Key responsibilities include crafting a technical approach to building features, breaking down and refining work, and delivering results with your team.

  • Autonomous individual contributing to high-impact projects across the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure console.
  • Daily tasks include microservices and frontend development, testing, CI/CD, participating in scrum activities, and collaboration with Support, Product Management, and other Service Teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in full stack software development.
  • Expertise in multiple languages, including Java, Node.js, C++, Python.
  • Experience building interfaces, including JSON REST APIs, GraphQL.
  • Experience in front-end scripting, including Javascript, Typescript, ReactJS, KnockoutJS.
  • Experience in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
  • Container-based deployment experience like Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Additional skills in one or more of Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis.
  • Test frameworks expertise, including Postman/Newman, Junit, Enzym, Jest, Karma, Mocha, Chai, Puppeteer.
  • Experience with distributed source control, including GIT.
  • Build tools expertise, such as Gradle, Maven, Webpack, Npm, Yarn.
  • Continuous deployment tools experience, like Teamcity, Jenkins.
  • Working experience within a Linux-based environment.
  • Familiarity with log analysis tools and debugging tools.
