
Leading Revenue Growth Specialist

The primary responsibility of this position is to maximize revenue from all business streams through strategic analysis and planning.
Maintenance of Revenue Management standards involves reviewing and measuring business performance against established goals, monitoring thresholds within a three-year forecast to ensure measurable improvements for demand and availability.
Key duties include developing region-specific strategies to drive growth, conducting analysis of citywide and special events to implement Revenue Management strategies that maximize demand generators, closely monitoring competitors for shifts in demand, rate, and strategy.
- Analyze short- and long-term forecasting trends in group inventories & rates to include occupancy, goals, product line, and strategic sales goals.
- Monitor marketing channels, key account production, and ensure rate parity across all major channels of distribution.
- Review future bookings and evaluate trends, updating distribution channels as needed with rate or inventory restrictions.
- Develop region-specific strategies to drive growth, establishing appropriate goals and benchmarks to effectively measure performance.
- Monitor and analyze the competition weekly through various channels, identifying selling strategies and emerging trends.
- Explore variations in market mix to stimulate additional revenue without increasing costs.
Foster a culture of Revenue Management throughout all departments by developing and implementing succession planning for Revenue Management talent.
Required skills include knowledge of hospitality sales, marketing, and other revenue management functions, such as research, planning, market positioning, market segments, internal marketing, distribution channels, sales management, reservations, and yield management.
Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and statistical and competitive analysis skills.
