Security Architect Job Description

As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions that align with business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to collaborate on the design and implementation of IAM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IAM solutions.
  • Design and maintain secure architecture for authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to IAM.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members and stakeholders on IAM-related projects.
  • Monitor and analyze IAM performance metrics and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Security Architect or in a similar role.
  • At least 6 years of professional experience in a technical IAM or IT Security role.
  • Expertise in IAM solutions such as authentication, authorization, single sign-on, and access control.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to analyze complex challenges and formulate robust solution proposals.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST or ISO 27001.
