This is a strategic planning role that plays a pivotal part in optimizing raw material blending and production planning across global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage blend schedules for pet coke feedstock across the USA and India to ensure optimal cost efficiency and quality control.
  • Track GPC inventories and CPC production rates; ensure alignment with shipment schedules to drive operational excellence.
  • Evaluate sourcing options and logistics to minimize costs while meeting CPC quality specifications.
  • Build and maintain business models using AI tools and Linear Programming (LP) for predictive planning to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Technical Services, and Operations teams globally to foster a culture of innovation and best practices.
  • Handle SAP transactions and generate reports on production, inventory, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in planning/blending, preferably in carbon/metallurgical industries.
  • Strong LP modeling and analytical skills to drive data-driven decision making.
  • SAP and advanced Excel proficiency to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and optimization to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and adaptability in a global team environment to drive cross-functional collaboration.
